FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your classes held?

Splinters Baseball is completely mobile. This allows maximum flexibility to schedule classes and lessons all around the county. The City of Salinas has been great in allowing us to use city parks for instruction as well.

Do you offer Softball instruction?

Yes we do. The beauty of our throwing and hitting programs is how applicable the are to both baseball and softball (pitching excluded).

What can I expect for my child?

As with anything new there is a learning curve. We ask that you start with a minimum of 4 sessions to allow for the information to be introduced, explained and adequate time to implement the technique.

Where can I keep up on Splinters Updates?

We routinely update our web site in a timely manner; we are also on Twitter and Facebook (see the links and updates under "Quick Links" over there to the left). You can also request to be added to our email list by emailing us.

How soon will I begin to see results?

All players are different and naturally have varying retention and application levels. It is often after the third session where the proverbial light has gone off and the techniques are close to being fully incorporated.

Are my donations tax deductible?

No, Splinters Baseball Academy is not currently a Non profit organization with tax exempt status.
